Rail freight between China and Europe has been growing rapidly in recent years. This trade route is part of the “New Silk Road” project and significantly shortens the time of cargo transportation compared to sea transportation. Difficulties in trade routes, especially during the pandemic, increased the importance of the railway. In 2024, China-Europe rail transport is expected to expand further.
